Phillips County Health Systems (PCHS) consists of
• Phillips County Hospital, a 25-bed, acute-care facility with a three-bed, special-care (E.R.) unit • an adjacent 33-bed long-term care unit, • the Phillips County Medical Clinic and • the Logan Medical Clinic.
The locations in Phillipsburg are located approximately 20 minutes north-east of Logan. PCHS offers emergency care, radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, occupational therapy, obstetrics, inpatient and outpatient surgery, teleradiology, mammography, MRI, mobile CT scan, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
The hospital has 18 consulting physicians, who regularly schedule a variety of specialty clinics. The various clinics are cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, neuro- and general surgery. Emergency services include five ambulances, a well-trained emergency medical staff including three trauma nurses and emergency air transportation.
On staff are 2 D.O.s (doctor of osteopathy), 2 P.A.s (physician assistants) and 1 ARNP (advanced registered nurse practicioner). Phillips County Health Systems has approximately 150 employees.

LOGAN MEDICAL CLINIC
Logan Medical Clinic is a community-owned rural health care facility, operating under Phillips County Medical Clinic and Great Plains Health Alliance management and administration, and financially assisted by Dane G. Hansen Foundation. Logan Clinic is dedicated to providing quality, cost-effective medical care to the members of this community.
OUR PROVIDERS
Family Nurse Practitioner: MaryBeth Van Roekel, A.R.N.P.-C , is responsible for the success of quality and professionalism of care provided by the Logan Medical Clinic. She provides primary nursing and medical health care services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, as well as the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Beth is also affiliated by protocol with the Norton Physicians in Norton, Kansas: R.W. Hartley, M.D., Glenda Maurer, M.D., Jeff McKinley, D.O., and Ruben Silan, M.D.

The Clinic is located at 214 West Main Street in Logan, Kansas. It is 2 blocks west of Douglas Street on the south side of the street and the entrance faces north. The telephone number is (785) 689-4220 and fax number is (785) 689-4219.
APPOINTMENTS/HOURS
Our Clinic hours are Monday thru Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Clinic is closed from 12 noon to 1 p.m. The medical providers and their appointment hours are listed below. When no one is available at the Logan Clinic, you will be directed by voicemail to Phillips County Medical Clinic or Phillips County Hospital for prompt attention.

ON CALL/EMERGENCIES
Our patients have 24-hour, 7 days a week, on-call coverage provided by the medical providers of Phillips County Medical Clinic. The after hours telephone number is (785) 543-5226. You will reach the Phillips County Hospital who will, in turn, page the on-call provider. If an emergency occurs during Clinic hours, please call the office. You will be directed to our nursing staff, your needs assessed, and then be worked into our schedule promptly.

LOGAN MANOR NURSING FACILITY

Logan Manor Adult Care home is dedicated to compassionate care. Our staff are caring people who believe the elderly are important and have much to enjoy and share. Our concerned staff works with the social, spiritual, and emotional needs of our residents, as well as their medical needs.
Encouragement is given to families to share in the parties, programs, and activities planned for the residents. We also encourage families to visit and participate in the residents’ plan of care. Visiting hours are open for the convenience of those family and friends who have loved ones staying at the Logan Manor.

LOGAN MANOR ASSISTED LIVING CENTER Alternative Care

An alternative type of care, other than institutional, the assisted living center allows residents privacy and independence for as long as possible.
Staff plans and provides residents with just the help they need. Each individual can benefit from the services they need allowing for the independence level they can achieve. Twenty-four hour nursing services are available, as well as help with baths, meals, and transportation.
A family oriented center, the Logan Manor Assisted Living Center offers a community like atmosphere, with community living areas, activity room, and dining areas to allow for social interaction with other residents.
Activities are planned within the center and the community of Logan, for entertainment, family involvement, and exercise; however, each resident's privacy is respected.
Beautiful spacious apartments are available in one and two bedroom, with kitchen, bath and living areas and features it’s own patio porch, and is handicap accessible. Units are not furnished; residents furnish with their own items and keepsakes. All apartments are for rent, not for sale.
