Logan Area Historical Museum

The Logan Area Historical Museum is located within the historic “Dye” building, built by Elmer Dye in 1905. There are two floors housing an assortment of exhibits and displaying unique items of historic importance to the Logan trade area, including a room dedicated to Logan’s current and former members of the US Armed Forces. A newer addition houses antique automobiles and farming equipment. Hours are 1-4 PM Friday through Sunday.
Hansen Museum

FREE ADMISSION! The beautifully landscaped Dane G. Hansen Plaza houses the Hansen Foundation & Trust offices and the Hansen Museum, which displays early American and foreign coins, European and Western guns, traveling exhibits from the Smithsonian Institute, art collected by Kate Hansen in Japan from 1907 to 1951, and more. The museum attracts thousands of people each year, creating new cultural and social opportunities for the region.
Basketball & Tennis Courts
There are two fenced basketball courts equipped with lighting, as well as a frisbee golf area behind the Catholic Church at the 200 Block of East Main.
Keith Sebelius Reservoir - Norton
About 40 miles from Logan, this lake covers 2230 acres including a wildlife area, nature trail, historic landmark, bathhouse and beach, courtesy dock, boat ramps, dump station, and electrical outlets.
Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge - Kirwin
About 30 miles from Logan, this area covers 10,778 acres supporting diverse wildlife habitat, including grasslands, open water wetlands, and cropland. Offers hunting, fishing, campgrounds, and boat ramps.

Logan Municipal Golf Course, a 9-hole course with sand greens, is open year-round to the public. Green fees are $2.00. Yearly memberships are also available. The course features 2,732 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. Logan golf course opened in 1930.

The Logan Municipal Pool is open from Memorial Day through mid-August. The facility features a large swimming pool, with a separate wading pool for toddlers. Swimming lessons and private parties available.
Roadside Park
The City Park provides playground equipment, covered picnic area, restrooms and camper hookups for those wishing to camp.

A city-owned riding arena is located on the west edge of Logan and is available for use by local residents. For scheduling an event, please contact the City Clerk’s Office during office hours.
