Logan has a long history of providing exceptional education experiences for Loganites of all ages.
Perhaps the greatest example of this innovative spirit is the Logan Intergenerational Family Education Center, or LIFE Center.
EDUCATION ACROSS GENERATIONS
Completed in 2024, the Logan Intergenerational Family Education (LIFE) Center, is a unique concept idea that integrates several community facilities into one structure. It includes a 36-bed, person-centered nursing home, and a Pre-K through 4th grade elementary school, connected to the existing Logan Jr./Sr. High (USD 326).
It also features a new gymnasium with locker room complex (which also serves as a community storm shelter), a weight room and wellness facility open and available to the public, and a community room and gathering place. All of this, under one roof.

Logan Elementary serves students in grades Pre-K through 4th grade, in the new Learning Center wing built as part of the LIFE Center.
Logan Jr./Sr. High School serves students in grades 5-12 and is connected to the LIFE Center.

Laugh ‘N Learn Childcare serves children ages 6 weeks through 11 years, and is a fun, loving, and safe place for your children to stay while you're away! Our staff is Pediatric CPR and First Aide Certified. We are always looking for new ways to create a positive learning environment for your kiddos!

Higher Education
While there are many opportunities to take online classes while living in Logan, Fort Hays State University (FHSU) is just a little more than an hour away, making it an ideal location for students who want to stay fairly close to home, or for those seeking a hybrid option with a combination of hands-on opportunities and online classes.
FHSU is a public 4-year university offering a wide range of programs across undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels.
