LIFE Center featured on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream
Viewers around the nation and perhaps the world had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Logan Intergenerational Family Education Center, the newly constructed building that houses two of Logan's most beloved groups of people: its youth and its elders. On Sunday, August 30, FOX News Sunday with Shannon Bream put our community and LIFE Center in the spotlight during its weekly hour-long program.
The feature was ‘teased’ throughout the show, and aired at the end of the program. For more than five minutes, we heard from several local people. Students, residents, and staff sat down with anchor Shannon Bream to discuss the LIFE Center’s impact and their experiences.
On Thursday, August 20, the visiting members of the crew for FOX News Sunday included executive producer Owen Renfro; Anchor & Chief Legal Correspondent, Shannon Bream; and Samantha Jackson, Anchor Producer and Assistant to Shannon Bream. Additionally, a team of three camera and audio crew members traveled from New York City to help film the broadcast. Though school was not yet in session, arrangements were made to accommodate these welcome guests.
A special thanks to all community members who were involved with this momentous event! We know there were more efforts that took place, but we’d like to acknowledge those of which we are aware.
